The Galveston jetties consist of two sets of granite rocks that are better known as the north and south jetties. These stretches of rock extend close to five miles out from shore and were built to protect ships going through the channel from erosion and wind.

The jetties now attract a large variety of fish and crustaceans, giving fishers the unique experience of catching offshore fish inshore alongside inshore fish. That is what makes fishing in the Galveston bay and jetties so magical — you never know what you are going to catch!

All of our trips are priced for three people, but up to six people are welcome for an additional $50 per person. At Line Check Charters, our customers/fellow fishermen/fisherwomen come first, which is why we want to provide you with an affordable fishing experience that you will never forget. All of our trips can be tailored to meet your group’s needs. With our experienced fishing guides, we will take you to the fish, show you how to catch them, and provide you with all of the equipment necessary to do so.
